To My beloved child,
whose name I carried in My heart before I ever said, “Let there be light” — before the mountains were formed and before I laid the foundations of the earth. I am God before the world ever knew you.
I knew you before your story unfolded in time. I saw every page before you took your first breath. You already occupied My thoughts.
I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. I knew the sound of your laugh before anyone heard it. I knew the color of your eyes before they opened. I knew the gifts I would place within you before you did a single thing. I knew the purpose I would weave through your life before a single day had been lived.
You were never hidden from Me. When you were being formed in secret, My eyes were upon you. When your heart began to beat, I heard every rhythm. When your body was being knit together in your mother’s womb, My hands were involved in every detail.
You call it development, but I call it wonder.
