I AM is Calling | Part 1 - A Call From the Wilderness Into Promise

    “I AM is Calling”

    Written By: Courtney Yozze

    Dear Child,

I know the plans I have for you. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you a future and a hope. For some time now, you have been walking in the wilderness. But I, the Shepherd, have gone before you. I AM making your path straight. And I am calling you out of the wilderness and into the promised land. I have walked alongside you through the Valley of the Shadow of Death, and as you abide in Me, you shall fear no evil. For I AM with you. I will never leave you or forsake you. For you know the sound of My voice and will not heed the voice of a stranger. For I chose you from the beginning. I have called you Mine. And as you lean not on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Me, knowing full well I will make your path straight, I will prosper you. You will receive increase in Me.

But, dear child, before you can prosper and bloom, you must be cultivated and pruned. For I AM calling you to higher ground. I AM calling you to have deeper roots in Me. But in order for you to bear good fruit, the bad fruit must be axed at the root. The briers, thorns, and weeds that have been choking you out must be thrown into the fire; for harvest to abound and good fruit to transpire.

For I AM separating the wheat from the tares.

But I know the plans I have for you, dear child. Be established and rooted in how high, how deep, and how wide My love is for you. If I’ve created the lilies in beauty and splendor, how much more will I clothe you? You, whom I knitted together in your mother’s womb. You, whom I chose from the beginning. You, whom I have called and equipped for every good work. You, whom I call My righteousness. You, whom I call forgiven. You, whom I love. You, whom I have called set free. You, whom I have called Mine. You, whom My thoughts and desires towards you outnumber the grains of sand.

    Dear Child,

Trust and abide in Me. Do not fear, for I AM with you. My rod and My staff will comfort you. You need not despair as the old things pass away. For I AM doing a new thing. Do you not perceive it? You are a new creation in Me, Christ Jesus.

    Love,

    Your Heavenly Father

    Note From the Author

The Lord imparted this word to me as I remained still in His presence. Afterward, I prayerfully compiled the passages of Scripture that were either quoted directly or reflected throughout this message. My prayer is that these verses will encourage you to search the Scriptures for yourself and draw you into a deeper relationship with the Lord. May the Holy Spirit illuminate His Word as you study to show yourself approved (2 Timothy 2:15).
